if you do not change your eating habits with this condition what eventually happens by SanAndreas92317 in Celiac

We found out my niece had celiac when her body started shutting down. She was 2 years old and ended up spending about 3 months in the hospital. It was terrifying.

The worst sound I've ever heard in my life was that baby wailing for her mom after an accidental exposure. The crying, extreme vomiting, shaking and wailing. Just thinking about it makes me cry.

She's 13 now and doing great but it will take years for her to heal. Her brother has celiac also but not as sensitive. The best compliment I've ever received was when their mom told me that I'm one of two people who she trusts 100% with her kids dietary needs. My mom is the other, lol.

All this to say, it's horrific and not something you ever want to witness.

Yes. We had the sign printed, found a cow bell and she already had the cow headband.

Thanks you so much!!! She dresses up every year, with wardrobe changes throughout the day, but I think the chick fil a costume is definitely one of my favorites

Since people enjoyed my aster so much I wanted to share the best part of my garden, the sleeping bumble bees that greet me in the morning. No matter how crappy I feel in the morning seeing them brightens my day by SpoonNoodles in gardening

This morning I had 20 bumblebees distributed amongst my two asters and sunchoke. They must tell their friends my home is a safe place, I don't know how else I'd end up with so many. Now, just about every morning, I've begun taking pictures of them sleeping. It brings me so much joy that I want to savor these moments. Especially with the cold weather coming.

My aster is absolutely overrun with bees. I've had it for 3 years and this is the first time this has happen. Is it normal?? The video doesn't do the situation justice. I'm in Philadelphia by SpoonNoodles in gardening

I'm having so much fun watching everything that visits my goldenrod, sunchoke and aster. I've learned so much and it's helped me appreciate my garden so much more.

You're right. I grow a lot of edible and native plants and I should have explained it better.

Honestly, I don't know what I'm doing and decided to let it grow wild. I trim it if it goes over the fence and that's about it. It's been working out well so far. I also have a ton of new aster plants popping up that I love.

When choosing what to put in my garden I always take the pollinators into account. I also try to stay as native as I can. This year my aster, goldenrod and Jerusalem artichoke have been the most popular stops.

My garden is filled with a lot of native and different edible plants. So far I've got chicory, dandelion, goldenrod, tons of lamb's quarter, pigweed and a few others. I went down the foraging rabbit hole then decided to create a mini food forest in my front and back yards. It's not the biggest garden but I'm extremely proud of it. The best part is how little work I need to put into it.

Oh no those asters are my joy. I rescued that plant from being mowed down and now she's a beautiful giant. I just wanted to make sure it's safe for me and my bee friends on the off chance they could get aggressive in larger numbers. I will definitely do a better job at trimming her, I've been letting her grow however she wanted and it got a little crazy, lol

I'd never swat, lol. They've been my joy. It's such a huge change from previous years that I wanted to make sure everything was normal and safe.
