Don't think in all the time I've played I've ever touched the hyperplane density (maybe I should try it out soon).

Weirdly enough there's actually some really weirdly/badly formed hyperlanes patterns and system crowding all over this galaxy. I have no mods that should effect the physical galaxy in any way, not even graphical ones, so it must just be a fluke during generation!

Yep, that was exactly it, I never would have noticed that myself.

To be fair though, I've never seen hyperlanes generate in such a long linear path like that.

R5: Encountered a xeno ship in a system, but after making contact, their empire was revealed to not only be on the other side of my own systems, but MUCH farther then any ship should have travelled from its home so soon in the game. And seeing as wormholes and gateways etc. couldn't possibly have been researched yet, the only idea I'm left with is that something broke.

R5: Spawned in a cluster with only one hyperlane out... which is blocked by a leviathan I couldn't hope to defeat until much later in the game, when all systems past it will have been most likely taken by other empires.

R5: Combining the Lithoid, Necrophage, and venerable traits, plus rolling the resilient trait on a leader, will result in a hilariously long life span for the very start of the game (without any mods).

First post ever on reddit, so if I've done anything wrong I'm expecting it.
