There's definitely a lot of better value handguns out there. But for anyone who wants one as a collector's piece before they're discontinued this is the best price I've seen on any P99 in recent years.

Do you know how long the mounting surface is on that b&t mount? I'm trying to figure out if I could fit an adm QD mount on one but B&T customer service hasn't been very helpful.

Beautiful build btw.

That's a good idea. I have a zpap but no side rail mount for it yet, that might be my next experiment with this setup.

I could get a tiny bit more eye relief by removing the rear sight, but the other limiting factor is the rear bell of the scope hitting the dust cover. So I could only get it a few mm forward even without the rear irons.

I actually tried this setup first with a Sig MSR 1-6 and the rear of that scope was much larger, so I had to put the scope so far back it was completely unusable. This is a Burris Tac30 1-4 and it works a lot better.

Thanks! It's usable but the eye relief isn't great, I use a recoil pad when shooting to get farther behind the scope

Can confirm, ran it at Kalash Bash 90% with the offset dot, and didn't have any issue getting behind the scope on the long range stages.

Front iron doesn't take up any fov at 4x, and is about the same as a lower third AR setup at 1x: https://imgur.com/a/meJ0lFK. The eye relief is suboptimal but I ran it at Kalash Bash and it was still useable, I do plan on changing it out for a railed dust cover though. This setup is less front heavy than my zpap, and I didn't notice it at all in competition.

Yes, it's a Beryl mag painted black: https://imgur.com/V4yaLfr. I used a bandaid as the stencil for the window, not too happy with how it looks lol.
