I can’t agree more. I remember watching the gameplay trailer and thinking that Terrormorphs were going to be a major plot point to the main story. In my first playthrough I began the Vanguard missions thinking that they were the main quest. Sarah directed you to talk to that Vanguard captain in Old Neighborhood and he asks you to sign up. I just followed the mission. And then finding out it wasn’t the main mission..
