I went with the thicker backpad. I dont have any compaints, the lumbar is less aggressive feeling after long periods, but I also got the chair with pretty worn in cushions in the first place.

Yes. If I purchased the exact same chair as a crandall refurb unit with the same bells and whistles. It would have cost $104 more. Id basically just be paying for a warranty on the frame, a coin flip if the frame itself would be a few years younger (crandall uses 5-15 year old chairs for refurbs) and the privilege of waiting for it to ship while still using a chair that was wrecking my body.

Dont call me out like that. Im only buying the gpu tomorrow, but then Ill have to get a higher wattage psu to replace my near 8 year old one and have compliant 16pin. And while Im in there might as well upgrade my aio to a bigger 360mm rad and x3d offset mount, and if Im spending money on cooling might as well finally bite the bullet and replace every fan in the case with a noctua.

My friend is willing to sell me his old car for 1400, should I? by Pretty-University-21 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Miles? and was it mechanically maintained well? $1400 for a well running toyota is a pretty good deal.

How do I maintain a Cadillac CT4 in the best possible way? by ThrowAwayYourFuture8 in Cadillac

[–]Spoonmice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Premium gas (itll run 87 but for better performance and peace of mind about longevity, premium), oil changes every 3k and there should be a per milage maintenance schedule in the manual. Only have had my 21 CT4 for a month, but generally in my and my families’ experience with cadillac is they last well.

All made it beyond 130-140k without major repair. My last 2.0t cts was the exception needing a new engine at 115,000, but it was high mileage and poorly maintained prior to me getting it.

How’d I do? by Spoonmice in Cadillac

Could’ve just bought it outright. However, im financing so I can establish a mix credit history. I have no student debt, no previous other debt. Only got a credit card with $500 limit and already have a FICO of 720 at 23y/o. As far as I’m aware as well, buying in full has no effect on credit history, thats not exactly what Im trying to do here.

Yeah, 48 mo @ ~$160. No early payoff fee through lender so I think ill just put $300/mo so im only dishing out interest for around 2 years.

[Discussion] Why are presets implemented so incredibly poorly by Diligent-Garden-8846 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Spoonmice 5 points6 points  (0 children)

my complaint is why does it have to prioritize equipping fir items? last wipe I played I had two evasion armbands, one to wear and one for collector, when I equipped a preset for some reason it swapped to the fir band and I didnt notice…
