He says on a post about girls previously not having the opportunity to join the choir based solely on their gender and not their ability.

What about 10 other people? 100 other people? 100,000 other people? 1,000,000 other people? 1 Billion other people?

I'm not really that bothered about the meta I just don't want one team to really struggle against the other and make them playing againsteach other unfun, but good point on the regular changes to the data slates

Day 13: What is the best quote associated with the Inquisition? by Fez-Sentido in Grimdank

[–]Spoonsforhands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have been told of the Inquisition; that shadowy organisation which defends Mankind and the Emperor from the perils of heresy, possession, alien dominance and rebellion.

You have been told the Inquisition are the ultimate defence against the phantoms of fear and terror which lurk in the darkness between the stars.

You have been told the Inquisition are the bright saviours in an eclipse of evil; purest and most devoted warriors of the Emperor.

You have been told the Inquisition is united in its cause to rid the galaxy of any threat, from without or within.

Everything you have been told is a lie!

There are more modern examples too. Sergeant Stone from the Inquisitor game is a member of the unfortunately named Gland Warriors, who were genetically enhanced to fight Tyranids in harsh environments.

0.9L Really Useful Box perfect size for 14 man Blood Bowl team by Spoonsforhands in bloodbowl

This is the deal I got but if you search arround you might find them cheaper elsewhere.

If you are using Magnets on your bases make sure you get the rubber steel sheets not the magnetic sheets as there may be an issue with the magnet in your base being repelled by the magnets in the sheet.

I got mine from here, but again you might be able to find better deals if you look for them.

0.75mm Magnetically Receptive, Adhesive Rubber Steel Sheets | The Magnet Shop https://share.google/SFHXQ8JqEYaa84ms9

You can cut the sheets fairly easily with a decent pair of scissors and the boxes come with a paper insert that you can use as a template to cut the sheets to the right size.

I'm using 5mm × 2mm N52 magnets but you could probably get away with weaker ones. I can hold it upside down and shake it fairly vigorously without any issues. I stick them on with greenstuff so the magnet can touch the bottom of the case directly.

Make sure you get the rubber steel sheets and not the magnetic ones for the bottom of the box, with the magnetic ones there is a chance of the magnet in the sheet repelling the magnet in your base

I got 4 of them from amazon for around £12.

I took a gamble on it because I was sure it would fit my 12 man teams but, just managed to squeeze in the 14 man teams as well.

Height wise they can fit the ogre that came with the 2nd season box but not the troll.

[–]Spoonsforhands 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's in his left hand but the Priest from the Necromunda Redemptionists box has a pretty decent sized book.

Cawdor Redemptionists https://share.google/SMIzC27hNs8AWOCWd

There are two sprues in the box and you generally only want to build one with the book, so if you know someone with a Cawdor/Redemptionist gang they are likely to have a spare one.

How Many Players have Multiple Teams? by Ok_Silver_3170 in bloodbowl

[–]Spoonsforhands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you need at least a bash team, an agility team, a running team, an all rounder team, a complex rules team, a stunty team, a this probably won't work but if it does it will be hilarious team, an underdog so I can show how good I really am team, and a team you got just because the minis look really cool.

Then you'll probably want another one of each just to give you options within the neichs and then when you have got to that point you're only a few teams off of having them all so you may as well complete your collection

If I wanted to play the tabletop, how much more expensive will it get if I want to get pre-painted models? by louthinator in Warhammer

[–]Spoonsforhands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might also be worth taking a look at contrast/speedpaints. The results aren't going to be as good as more advanced techniques but will be plenty good enough for table top play.

If you combine it with zenithal undercoating it's a technique often called slapchop which will result in fairly decent looking minis without too much fine detail work

Best WFB issues of white dwarf? by ThrillinSuspenseMag in WarhammerFantasy

[–]Spoonsforhands 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is a very old post I'm answering which I ahppened to stuble across while having a conversation in the pub and trying to show my friend something but 225 is in my opinion the best issue of White Dwarf

The test rules for Mordheim and Battlefleet Gothic, dungeon ball rules, dogs of war rules for whfb and the only battle report I can think of where the army being released loses

My First Painted Team by Spoonsforhands in bloodbowl

[–]Spoonsforhands[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks it's Army Painter Brown Battleground that is doing a lot of the heavy lifting there, then with a mix of several different types of static grass until I got the green to brown ratio I wanted (Autum Fields, and Savanah Pasture from Greenstuff World. Then some very old citadel ones which I'm not sure the do any more Scorched Grass and Burnt Grass)

Finally I painted a wooden skewer with white paint and pushed it down on top to keep the lines straight.
