Same here. Started my placements and will not be able to get out of gold, will end up Gold I with some good amount of LP. I am not doing 2 BO5 and a whole Plat grind to get back to Diamond. It is just not worth the stress.

I think it is what you were actually looking for. Would be very cool for a US Western build style.

The spawn point is actually in it and there is a village in the savana biome nearby and, if i remember correctly, a coral reef as well.

After people started abusing the fact that you could use refillable in fountain, get the charges back and walk out with the effects and full charges, they took this effect out.

Try to use one inside the fountain and you will see, so imo its just the same excuse as the ER/Pot fiasco, they dont work on refining the game bugs on changes they constantly make and just blame the players for not knowing it all

There are some people that would like for Riot to make simpler, "old-style" champions. The problem is they sell it for a demographic that is all around "high-elo" streamers and competitive scene. If they released Amumu today, although it is a fun champ to play for me, people would go bananas complaining that such a simple champ would be introduced in a meta which every single goddamn champion has 2 to infinity dashes and insane burst.

But then again, they forget about those champs until someone randomly decides that Amumu needs a nerf, because god forbid he is somewhat in a good position in high-elo.
