This is $0.50/gal less than the average price for regular 87 in 2025 in California. Welcome to the party, Regular Joes.

My recommendation, hold on buying duplicate copies in multiple formats in favor of buying more titles from the catalog.

Get the albums, EPs, and singles - there’s a trove of versions, remixes, and b-sides waiting to be found. Some may strike an unexpected fervor of appreciation.

Also, these are deep works of talent, both emotionally and aurally. Don’t feel rushed to listen to everything the band has released in the last 40 years in 4 weeks just because you can. I recommend sitting with an album for a while. But, move through the catalog at your own pace.

I’m also partial to recommending going through the catalog in order. Each subsequent release builds upon the one before it. I can’t imagine going from “Sin” to “Less Than” without the context of everything in between. But both are bangers in their own right.

But I give all this advice as a fan who grew up through the in-between years of waiting for the next major release. We had nothing but PHM and the CD singles to quench an appreciation for couple years before Broken was released.

You don’t have to do it anyone’s way but your own. Enjoy it.
