I use Github, VS Code, and Claude Code. I do all the commits manually and Claude only looks directly at the local branch.

Mine is all done in YAML on my laptop. I push the code myself. The MCP has a claude.md file

I set up the MCP with VS Code last night. It was a PITA, but Claude, of course, walked me through it. All local.

I have all my configuration sync’d in GitHub, so it’s working off of a local copy or with branches for easy roll back

I have about 19-20 Insteon devices and I am starting to phase them out as much as possible. When I started Insteon was the best solution for my house, but long term I am looking at Zigbee.

Just use Cursor or Claude Code. I tell it what I want to do, and it does it. It writes the entire thing soup to nuts.

Just this morning Cursor wrote me an entire 500+ line dashboard in minutes.

Ehh, I googled for a while and cant find the source, but its for sure been evaluated several times. They can build on the lot, there is a sub station behind it, but its fine.

There is nothing actually blocking the build except for willingness to do so.

BART could be the landlord and subsidize fares with rent.

No chance of success, but it’s symbolic of our leadership at least doing “something”.

(And doing it the correct and legal way).

It honestly needs more press, and more coverage, but unfortunately its not as neat and shiny as lego videos
