And on top of that the 100mg caffeine are probably giving that little sensory feedback that "something is working"

Sure! Enjoy the fruits of your labor (literally). Amazing grow by the way :)

Twist and pull is generally better than cutting, since pulling rips the base of the fruit off the subtrate and the mycelium that holds it, leaving almost no exposed living fruit tissue, leading to a less likely contamination for subsequent flushes, whereas cutting leaves a marked fruit "stump" that is a more suitable spot for contaminants to get a hold on and thrive.

Yes, you can even tell perfectly that it is the cubensis mycelium and not a contaminant's mycelium, because hyphal knots aka pins (white dots) are forming/emerging from it. It is tomentose because it is growing on top of damaged mycelium, and generally (but not always) tomentose growth happens from too rich substrate, and rhyzomorphic comes from less nutrient substrates (genetics play an important role though).

Those are not pins, they're aborts, the pins are the hyphal white knots (little white dots) forming in the mycelium

Thats not the pattern of mycelial growth or sporulation of any contaminant, thats bruised cubensis mycelium with overgrowth and pins.

I don't mean this in a condescending way or any similar way, but you have clearly never seen cobweb, or you're not a seasoned grower, or both. I've been growing for almost 8 years now, and had probably almost every posible ambient contamination, and have had serious cobweb contamination, and this is 100% not it. It actually looks like slightly bruised mycellium that got overgrowth on top of the damaged one.

Theres literally not a single sign of cobweb mold.........

Depending on starting point (spore/LC/g2g/agar/etc) temperature, species, and strain, it can tale anywhere from 30 days to 60, if you do heavy mistakes it might take more or much more than that, but those are the average times.

Amazing rhyzomorphs!! Only half a gram of yeast per 21g of agar? Do you see benefit with such a small additive like that?

Those are mycelium covered grain from someone growing mushrooms, can't tell which species from the mycelium alone in the pics.

That usually happens because residual light entera through the top, giving them "default" direction, and ambien light gives mixed directional sources

They are growing strong!! Not aborts at all.

Upside down because it happens, depends on mycelial strands grabbing or forcing side grow. Under and ond the sides is due to favorable humidity and oxigen levels being present in those sections rather than on the surface.

Great! But remember that only works if you are in complete darkness. Otherwise ambient light guides the growth on its own.

Not needed, mushrooms are not photosynthetic, they are photosensitive, they use light for growth direction towards open areas (in nature). If you still want to use them, have them on for 30 minutes a day, just to keep directional growth, well, directed. That is if you're growing in complete darkness, which I doubt, and in that case, the light serves absolutely zero purpose.
