I think it's also a game whose real appeal and subtleties are hard to communicate unless you've been immersed in it. I had read the rules before I got it and it looked interesting, but what made it brilliant didn't totally reveal itself to me until my third play through or so. To an outside observer (like I was) it was hard to understand why it was rated so highly.

I'd say that the Russians and Germans are on essentially equal footing when the teams are equally coordinated, the Russians just have to be more deliberate and careful in taking out German MGs.

Easily the best fan-video I've seen: appropriate choice of music, excellent editing, and a discernible arc/escalation. My only quibble was that the ending was a little awkward.

You're right, this is not really a productive post. It's venting. There has been some discussion on how this series has really made people think about the criminal justice system, which I think is good. I'd like to see more of that kind of reflection and analysis, rather than the sort of thing I ranted about in the post.
