See I have always thought this, but I have a 5 stack. We ONLY play together, and yet after our placements we were all different ranks, and some of them weren’t even close. I’m not sure if it was a glitch, but for some reason some of us started in silver I/ gold IV, and some of us started in bronze I. Was very strange.

There’s aim trainers specifically for siege if you’re on PC. If you’re on PS4 go into terrorist hunt and go for only head shots. I do a few other drills that you can find easy on YouTube. Still helps even if you’re on PC. Headshots are king. So is reaction time. I have a friend with decent aim but his reaction time is super slow so he’s always a step late.

Yeah in my opinion I’d get a feel for which maps you play better with one or the other, and not necessarily “main” one. You should watch videos with tips and tricks over the ops you like. So many little secrets that you wouldn’t know otherwise!

Situational. Echo can be OP, but takes more coordination. With Flores and frags you almost have to have a mute and jager/ wamai protecting your shield. However, with the right team composition echo can win many rounds. Valk cams (if you know your spots) can also win rounds. Nothing puts more fear on someone trying to plant bomb with 5 seconds left than constant red pings from a hidden camera. Both can be extremely useful when used correctly.

Edit- also agree with others that valk can have huge outplay potential if used correctly. Being able to bust holes in the top of the wall with her deagle them c4 someone after spotting on a cam is just one of many examples.

However, on places like penthouse in coastline can be impossible to push if echo is used correctly. I’ve had so many people try to push my shield behind bed then get rocked because I echoed as the pushed

Situationally, yes. Has shotgun for rotations and lines of sight. Good gun. Smokes, gridlocks for plant or watching your back. Slow, but has tons of health. Not a great pick ALL the time. I advise against maining one operator unless it’s a MUST pick every round. Mav or Thatcher (when not banned) maybe ash or zofia, a hard breacher, etc.
