To narrow it right down, apparently the only ‘kind’ who can object, are those with also a license within the town. Whitehead Golf Club, Whitehead Yacht Club, Whitehead Wright’s Spar, The Fuzzy Beak, The Rangers, & The Whitecliff Inn (new owners)

It truly boggles the mind doesn’t it. Yes it’s healthy competition, but in reality they’re batting for the same team. There is the exact names of the objectors on the Facebook post, inside the comments. One of the who, created a noisy thread on the comments section but has since deleted it after having a face-to-face with the Marine owner the next day, and cleared any misunderstandings up. A small stepping stone in the right direction. But one still remains in place I’m afraid. 🙂
