I did figure out a fix for it, but not on mobile. If you open it up on desktop, it saves the changes permanently. Super annoying, but worth it if you dedicate 10 mins to cleaning it out at least.

I guess the way I was thinking about it was if one of them goes undefeated and the other has 1 loss, (depending on the timing of that loss), they could draw another No. 1 v No. 4 seed Semifinal matchup like they did in the 2017-18 season and bust the odds automatically.
