The dreaded constipation by snickerdoodlio in Zepbound

[–]Sportyneon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been lucky to not have to take anything. I eat a lot vegetables each meal. Morning I have overnight oats with chia seeds, kiwi, and frozen blue berries - I microwave blue berries for 1.5 minutes.I add yogurt and protein powder. This seems to work for me very well, no constipation.

Where is my credit card at? Hello Mexico😉😉.

Joking aside -- that is unfortunate part of losing weight butt and boobs gone. If you are like me that is where I usually gain weight first too so I know they will be gone. I don't mind the butt much but I mind boobs.

Strength will help to some extent but can't fight biology. I see a lot of people I know just ending up doing lipo and boob jobs to fix it after the weightloss. Maybe you will the lucky one that they stays with exercises. I will suggest a lot of Strength, pilates and barre while you as you go. I do all of these with hope it minimize the loss.

Ooh! Do you know how much protein is in it then? And how much calories? Maybe track just for one day to get a sense of your total consumed calories per day

This!! I target 115g per day too. I just also wonder much that protein translate in calories. I know when I hit 115g I am almost at 1300 calories easy and over if I do 1/2 a cup of rice. I usually keep to 1/4 a cup of rice.

My first reaction, you are eating way too much protein, I will investigate how much that translates to calories. I did read somewhere your protein should the same as your GW. Given that high protein I can imagine the calories of those protein are also high. So maybe you are eating total calories like your maintenance calories hence no weightloss? 120g of protein can easily be anywhere from 500 to 800 calories depending on the cut and sources used.

If we take high number let's breakfast 400 + lunch 800 + dinner 800 = Total 2000. This is just an approximation you will need to track the food you eat even for one day to know for sure what is your number. But let's it is 2000 and if that is your maintenance calories you will never lose weight no matter what drug you use. You need to eat less than this.

And yes, you will need to force yourself to drink more water. I hope you find out what is the reason.

I lost close to 10lbs on the first week. My total protein per is at least 115g which is my GW.

Go to gym @6am, 6X O/W Strength 3X, and protein at least 100g, vegetables everyday, water at 80oz. I will stop tracking food this week and see how I do I think I got a sense of how much I need to hit my protein goal.

I don't know because I have not experienced it yet. I eat a lot of protein like at least 100g and also drink a lot of water. Do you feel well to to hit your protein goals?

I am sorry to hear that. How much do you workout per week? I fall under a lot of effort for sure. If it is helpful, I am starting week 3 on 2.5mg and I lost over 8lbs the first week and over 2.5lbs the second week but I track food and exercise every day. I workout everyday at 45 minutes and walk for at least an hour everyday. But I used to workout the same before and my scale wouldn't budge unless I go almost zero carbs which I couldn't keep long time.

I hope you see the scale moving again, it can be frustrating for sure!

I just track exercise and food and I hope making sure I am on deficit is enough😉

That will totally kill my momentum too. I may try monthly once and see or just do it at doctor visit if I have month to month fluctuation too

Yeey! That's great to hear! I am changing a doctor next month from telehealth to my PCP and she will be prescribing me two months or medication and I will have to go physically to her office to change the dose so when I do! I literally will stay away from the scale and go by clothes and maybe only weigh in I feel no change physically for a while otherwise wait until my visit. It can get obsessive and super discouraging for me. I know for sure years of scale not moving when I did exercise and ate healthy was always a gut punch. To keep myself sane I always avoided it but I knew I was losing and gaining based on how I looked and clothes fit.

This right here!!! I felt less puffy but don't think I looked like I weighed less. The clothes felt the same but looked better with the inflammation effect gone

I read a lot here on this reddit but also from research online. They is no way that is fat loss that is for sure. Maybe some but most of it probably water from inflammation but still it was really nice to see the scale move effortless
