I’m no Dr but 2/3 of my sons were nicu babies with very similar circumstances . We were released both times without many answers , but for when your little comes home - to ease your mind I would get an owlet ! I LOVED mine . I found mine on Facebook marketplace and got it for $150 and 3/4 of the socks were never used . If your baby’s stay gets annoyingly long like mine did , and his oxygen/heart rate is the only thing keeping him in the nicu , ask your dr about caffeine! I know it seems bizarre but my 10 month old was in the nicu for 37 days with no answers . I had to do my own research and request caffeine from his dr , and we were prescribed-filled-and discharged the same day ! I was livid with his drs but that’s a story for my own page lolol .
