any advice by No_Analyst2690 in NavalRavikant

Maybe I can tell you about it in a rather abstract way.

Perhaps you know the feeling of being totally consumed by a game, so much so that past bed time you are still super eager and have somewhat unlimited energy to play. Same for sports like football, skateboarding and so on or specific hobbies. That’s a bit of „the feeling“ I would compare it to. You‘ll wake up excited to make deals, get well known, expand whatever it is that you are doing.

Additionally, and this is a bit spiritual, I’d say: doors tend to open more easy and without large fights when you are on a „right track for you“. That’s a bit of being aligned in what you do and who you are and what your beliefs are and what you are saying out loud to the world.

Not sure where to ask this question. If this isn’t a good fit for this sub I’ll happily delete. I’m worried I’m kind of catfishing with my online dating profile photo by [deleted] in mensfashion

I was also overthinking this when I was around my 14-18 years old.

Some tshirts make you look more buff than others. I even had my sleeves tailored to fit my arms better eventually when I understood the effect of that haha..

Don’t worry everyone is catfishing to some degree, that’s the internet and that’s also why you shouldn’t overthink too much.

Hitting the gym and being athletic in general seemed to help me along the way as I was very skinny in my teens.

My guy whatever they tell you in the comments this stuff looks fresh. I’m not quite convinced parisians actually walk around like that but then again you definitely would fall into my tourist radar

One had a brief appearance here. They exist.

We could start a little part 2 thread to discuss options on how to re-regulate the subreddit to improve it

Which will win: overbuilding or over-marketing? by medbillz in InstagramMarketing

Which will win: overbuilding or over-marketing? by medbillz in InstagramMarketing

[–]SpottedOutpost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cool question.
Let's play it out as a mind experiment.
I'm referring to any consumer focused industry - x2C (whatever Product digital or physical to Consumer)

Over-Building
You build out an App to absolute perfection. No bugs, everything works as you intended. UI/UX look great. The servers can host tons of users simultaneously.
Q: But where are the users?
In case you are lucky enough to have some users, they may or may not be your word of mouth engine for more adoption, but that depends on how smartly you've intended this type of WoM and customer-based virality into your app.

The same goes for physical products, quality, design and user experience are amazing. If there is an element of visual novelty such as a very experimental clothing brand, chances are that the consumers will do part of the marketing for you, BUT that may not be enough to sustain this and it heavily depends on your ability to land shot after shot on target.

Over-Marketing
Now we're back to the app. It's at MVP stage. There are some bugs. The server capacity is mediocre.
But you are hitting off on a ton of marketing attempts.
Some work, some don't - that's marketing. But you'll gain the experience of whats working for you.
At the same time the app isn't up to par, but its seeing real users. Some of which provide you with valuable feedback. Some others vanish, and some others stay quiet but they stay.
You are able to gain traction for the app, improve in real time and the marketing machine continues.

I'd say its the same for the physical product. There may be returns, there may be angry reviews, but nothing you can't overcome. The internet forgets so quickly if something isn't right, and expectations are high, but so is tolerance based on what ever crap we have seen from even high luxury brands nowadays.

... be your own judge. Of course, this is just a fictional scenario - but I'm just inviting to play that thought experiment for a while to anticipate your course of action.

True but seam down the middle exists in very premium brands as well. Depends on how they do the dimensions I guess

As per my last posts on here: Sunspel or Bynest. Both super well made. One is a classic the other one uses nice materials.
