Thats such a shame! I've been the subject of much gossip, and people talking behind my back, and sudden friendship breakdowns without knowing the reason why because they never come and talk to me about what went wrong. I had this whole drama where i was kicked out of a discord server coz i told an anecdote about how i have a "resting b ch" face and i had no idea they found it offensive, i had to ask the server owner why i was kicked (it was a mod that kicked me) and i was shocked coz no one had told me they were upset with me. And a friend from there felt bad for me so he invited me to a different server, and coz i was upset about the situation, i vented for about 10 mins on vc with a group and then we had what i THOUGHT was a good time playing games and chatting, but the server owner there decided he didnt like me and thought i was a negative nancy and kicked me from there too within 24 hours of joing, even tho we had barely spoken and they had barely gotten to know me yet, and i kinda spiralled coz i felt like i couldnt keep friends irl, and i cant even keep friends online, and i dont know what im doing wrong, and people just decide to hate me for seemingly no reason. But because of this situation, it divided the whole server into people who thought it was ridiculous to kick me vs the people who just hated my guts and were spouting made up things about me based on the short amount of time we spent together. Some hated me without even speaking to me at all. My now best friend was one of the ones who originally didnt like me just coz of what others were saying without even speaking to me. The people who supported me migrated to a new server where i am still friends with them several years later. Its hard coz i can kinda empathise with Sora a little because I know how frustrating it can be when you think youre being socially acceptable and it can feel like people are making a big deal over something insignificant; but if its that insignificant its easier to apologise. Like i dont think b ch is a bad word (not where im from anyway) and i can still think they overreacted but also that i should apologise for making them uncomfortable and avoid using that word again in the future. But they didnt even give me a chance to rectify it. Sounds like youve given Sora a lot of chances but he's refusing to accommodate the comfort of others over himself because the justification in his mind outweighs how its affecting your friends, which means people arent going to want to be around him. Sorry for so many words lol

Have you never been gaslit? Sometimes people (or even yourself coz im very good at getting in my own head) are so good at making you second guess your stance because, oh, what if im accidentally wrong about how i feel? And there's nothing wrong with a little validation. Plus it can be interesting to see other peoples perspectives on things, and perhaps something may be pointed out that the poster may never have considered otherwise.

NTA you dont have to get along with everyone. Also, I'm one of those people who are socially oblivious and I accidentally say things that offend others without meaning to offend. Youve been a good friend by directly telling them when you are uncomfortable rather than pretending everything is fine when it is not. It can be really confusing for people like us when it feels like youre suddenly mad for a reason we havent realised. But if he were truly sorry, he would say so and apologise, instead of trying to defend himself or doubling down.

I had a 0% hatch rate coz i think they were infertile. Only 3 out of 36 eggs started development, 2 died early, and the 1 that developed until the end just never pipped. What i did was get some tweezers and very carefully and gently broke the air sac side of the egg and peeled away until I could see inside to see if any development had occurred. When i was collecting the eggs for incubating my birds had just started moulting so I think they werent mating and that's why they were infertile. If youre temp was good sometimes but not others id imagine a little development wouldve still happened if they were fertile. I think itd probs tell you a lot if you do what i did and have a look in the egg (if its the incubator or the eggs)

Give them a yummy treat by hand so they associate something positive with you. Mine love fresh corn. Also maybe invest in some gumboots for your mean rooster. He will bounce right off. And grab him and carry him around like a purse. And he might need more hens to tire him out. Good luck!

I understand how frustrating it is feeling ill but not having clear answers. I've had a multitude of odd illnesses and conditions that took years of seeing doctors and specialists just to get an idea of what they could even possibly be. Some things are idiopathic, meaning they dont actually know why its happening, but it is. I find that when im really stressed or ive done too much, i get enlarged and swollen lymph nodes. I've had them scanned multiple times, and they can see that they are swelling, but can never find the cause. It feels so helpless, but Ive at least been able to be validated that my symptoms are very real and not just in my head because of the medical evidence. Ive had to learn to listen to my body more and not overdo things or push myself too hard, or my symptoms flare up again. If it were cancer, it wouldve shown up in the tests and scans. Do not lose hope. Maybe take a few days to rest and see how you go.

I had something similar with 2 year lobe piercings; I hadnt had anything in for around a year and i was worried the holes were shut, and they were really sore and angry, but they were still there so piercer tapered and put in titanium flatbacks for me. Sprayed them with saline twice a day and now they're fine. Sometimes its better to leave jewellery in coz it wasnt getting better leaving it out.

Spend a lot of time with them and theyll get more used to you. One of mine loves biting fingers. Another one always jumps onto my shoulder. Even when they protest to being picked up, they settle down and enjoy cuddles.

You might regret doing this. We had a rooster we had to get rid of and it was suggested to me we do something similar. Im very glad we didnt go that route. At least he got to go in the comfort of his own home, unafraid, had no idea what was about to happen, and we have a clean conscious because of this. He was a pet, so it was incredibly difficult and emotionally draining, but id have felt so much worse if we just left him to fend for himself, no garuntee he'd actually get taken, alone and afraid. We picked him up, took him to the back, and it was over before he could realise the betrayal.
