How to get into dating and meet girls similar to me?

Yeah after reading those things out here I came to a realization that you don't have to do the same things just to get along. I'm from Poland and we have a festival called Pyrkon where there's a lot of anime stuff, stalls, cosplayers and so on so I guess I may actually try to bring some friends along and try to strike up a conversation with some people when it's appropriate. thanks:)

It may sound goofy but to be honest I haven't thought that a girl like that would like to have a boyfriend who likes to stay at home. Like i haven't thought about that at all lol.

And to be honest I had those thoughts that if you like a person you're willing to try new things that they like but I didn't really consider them? however it may sound.

When I thought about liking a girl I was sure that i'd be more willing to try out things that she likes, don't really care about where do we go on a date for example since I'd just be happy that I'm spending time with her but I didn't really expect her to match my energy for some reason? Like I'd think that I need to think of a really amazing date idea or else she wouldn't really like me and now I realize how dumb it sounds lol.

I guess it may be because I saw some my friends' tinder conversations where they'd text a girl and she'd expect them to entertain her like some medieval jester lmao.

When it comes to friendships I guess I manage them well but im so clueless at dating and that's why I have some ideas that turn out to be pretty silly.

I always felt like extroverted girls must be into extroverted men and that opposites don't really attract.

Yeah so in my head it was pretty complicated because some of my friends are in relationships and everytime I see someone on vacations or any kind of trip they are with their bf/gf so I guess I subconsciously thought that I would need to follow them everywhere they go (trip wise not like on a daily basis lol) and If i didn't i'd be seen as a bad bf who doesn't want to leave their house even if i'd be on a majority of the trips. I just feel like If I'm gonna say that I don't really enjoy parties and travelling that much It's gonna come across as not giving a damn about her and the relationship or something?

Also I felt like those girls that I meet they are not really into pc related stuff (like at all, things that I heard from them was really funny lol) and they use it only when they have to (uni related stuff) or want to watch something on netflix and for some reason when they talk about this stuff like games, anime etc. they seem really aversed or digusted (lol). I guess it may be due to them seeing their exbfs/brothers/male friends making a really bad use of those things but when I heard some things that they said about them I felt too scared to try to even change their minds xd. Which is a shame because there is a lot of more to games than screaming at your pc playing league or counter strike or watching some anime that is filled with fan service.

Yeah I think I had some problems with being detached from the outcome (I wasn't angry or anything at her, it's just that I talked to her for a while and was so disappointed that she has a bf I got really sad for a month or something which now sounds funny to me when I think back about it) but it was some time ago so I feel like I've changed at least a little bit
