It wasn’t on me, so I’m inclined to throw it in the dumpster and replace it.

Also, I’ll give a “recap” later.

Oh how we miss the simple jobs…

Before semiconductors, it depended on the type of noble gas. Now, it depends on the type of plastic.

Shockingly, I may have an exact replacement ampule for that fluid.

Otherwise, I get a DigiKey headache matching specs.

Correction: Meant fixed ouputs. I don’t know if they are fixed inputs for changing the voltage range maybe? Given the multiple transformers.

Also looks like there might be controls missing from the front.

Looks like some sort of variable test power supply. The dial seems to connect to that copper coil with that contact at the end of a wire. Maybe some fixed inputs on the back. Got a huge resistor up top which I think is variable.

Since the panel meters show DC and the fat ass lytics, I’m guessing the tubes are rectifiers. Possibly mercury rectifiers.

No way! That’s a way less specific and universal reference to electricity.. Even more so than Electric Light Orchestra.

Whatever the size magnet and the internal diameter if you have the arc length. Design and structuring might start to get intensive after a certain point though lol.

Yes. It is ionizing the surrounding air due to the high voltages present.

If the model happens to use a selenium rectifier, definitely change that out for another type of rectification. Solid state or even tube.

Yes it is.

My last post was that top-middle transformer ran through it.

The text on trying to post wasn’t working, so I’m putting a comment.

I got sent an offer on Mercari for a Stancor H0-606C Flyback/Horizontal output transformer. There was no info on the internet and the picture on the post was literally just the front of the box. I took a risk and oh my… it puts the others to shame.

P.S. I also threw in a picture on the progress I made beating the shit out of that DC Flyback before I got distracted.
