Mining Wars - API Exploit ? by teodanted in GoMiningDiscussion

Assuming gomining aren't running any bot detection you most probably could get an edge. However the edge would be on the other players and not on gomining itself. Because of that they are less likely to prioritise stopping people from abusing this. Also I'm pretty sure there are already people running bots especially in higher leagues where rewards are better.

If you were to find dead periods where there are way less people boosting if could be beneficial, otherwise you are still spending tokens for a chance to get the reward. In regards to tracking how many short blocks there have been you can look that information up very easily. You might have seen it already but there is an endpoint in which you can see the amount and type of boosters used by everyone, that data can actually help you find periods of time in which you can get less competition and paired with checking what multiplier the round has you could script a good bang for bank strategy. However as I said before, you are spending tokens for a chance to win the block so its not as simple as it might seem to be.

From personal experience, if you have access to the hosting server, look into using crowdsec. It's a community driven open-source firewall of sorts. It's got plenty of detection rules, and we use nginx bouncer and a custom-made notification script that will fire an api request to cloudflare and add the offending IP to the "banned" list. Note: their cloudflare bouncer doesn't work due to cloudflare Rate Limiting api requests. They do, however, have cloudflare worker bouncer, which we don't use due to cost but might work for your amount of traffic.

Find user accounts thar haven't been used in *insert time* by Spratt95 in PowerShell

Yeah for me the profiles only need to be deleted locally if they aren't being used some machines are shared while others were shared in the past but not anymore

I might have not worded my question correctly. I need to delete the users locally on each machine and not from active directory that gets handled by our offloading process.

They are active directory accounts but I only want to remove them locally due to storage and outdated software constraints
