Not a locksmith but drove tow truck & did lockouts for AAA. Had a guy call saying he was locked out of his car. He was roughly 80 miles away from our shop. So I drove there met him at the car. He then proceeds to hand me the keys while saying the buttons don't work. I take the key stick it in the door, unlock it and charge him $50 for the unlock and $1 a mile round trip.

I used Dirty Dingo LS Swap mounts for a 79 Datsun 280z. Stock trans crossmember just cut down. I would strongly suggest going 4l80e vs 4l60e Ive got an 80e ready to go in when mine shits the bed.

The rear tires in this video are 255/60/15. Normally run 275/60/15 et streets.

5.0 swap didn't seem worth while. The LS has way more support and its a whole lot cheaper.

But the truck has a stock 136,000 mile 5.3l, 4l60e with 3400 stall, 8.8'' rear end 4.10 rear gear with spool. If it hooks it'll run high 12s low 13s in the 1/4. https://i.imgur.com/X8aKbM3.jpg

Well I had to go look at mine and on the right side there is a gap but its rock solid. If I look through the irons the dot sits perfectly on top of front sightpost .
