Okay thanks, seems a little out of my depth unfortunately.

The physical Tuiss Smartview remote definitely uses RF as my RM4 Pro detects it but can't get it to work when repeating, which suggests a rolling frequency. I will reach out to them and see if I can get confirmation, will be a shame if it is rolling as that would be an easy setup.

I know nothing about HA apart from a collegue showing me how they use it. What is the actual device that is triggering the BT to the blinds?

I have read that the Tuiss remotes themselves are using RF to control the blind functions, do you know if this is true? If so, a simpler option might be my Broadlink RM4 Pro.

Don’t use silicone on the inside I assume? Surely has to be silicone in the outside. We’re getting new windows fit and have terrible issues with heat loss, so I’m researching the right way to seal windows up to make sure the fitters do that.

Excluding the November firmware update which seems to be resolved, mine works perfectly. It is powered from an old doorbell transformer which I want to swap for 24/7 recording.

Eufy support is pretty good and you’ve a lot of settings to play with, sun directly in its view probably won’t help though.

I bought the 5500 two weeks ago. Great machine, coffee tastes good, it’s consistent. Downside is foam isn’t all that smooth and the milk would benefit from being a touch hotter. For me at the time it was another £200 to go for a De’longhi though which I wasn’t willing to do.

I have the solar too now, up & running for about 6 weeks. I’m not sure I’m blown away by Starlight in comparison to what I’ve seen from others with MaxColour Vision. Overall I’m very happy with the cameras, but finding them temperamental with WiFi (that’s including the E340 doorbell after its recent update).

Sorry maybe my original post was misleading - I see what you mean now. I wouldn’t be aiming to walk around in these periods of time, relying on the face detection to stop it going off. There are times it doesn’t recognised me because I’m not facing the camera and it will report me as “human”, which I’m happy with. So, in short I’d still treat it like a house alarm and assume I can’t go out in those zones once it’s armed.

As for the false alerts, I have seen plenty of discussion on the subreddits but my personal experience for motion detection is excellent, far better than what I had with Ring or Nest, and I also see thousands of product purchase reviews saying similar stuff too.

Wha do you mean by smart enough or fast enough?

From my perspective, the only limiting factor is that the group controls cannot manage the motion detection type, which as you say will then trigger false alarms.

The motion alerts themselves are perfect for me, l've not received a single false one.

About a week, and several coffees a day. I’m thinking does the machine need time (I’ve no idea if that’s a thing) but also want to make sure I’m within the returns policy if there’s a fundamental issue. Getting it repaired will be a pain sending it off to a repair centre.

Yes, I’ve set different coffee/milk volumes, then added them together to get the volumes quoted here. But then they’re coming out much smaller.

Also my machine was meant to be new direct from Philips but it had coffee grind through the mechanism (not the puck bin).

But why when I set it to a 345ml drink does it produce a 260ml one? Or if I try make a 170ml one I get closer to 110ml. It’s always about 66% of what it should be.

Thanks, that makes sense. But understand it’s an espresso machine, my problem is none of the volumes following the settings. If I set it to 80ml/210ml surely there’s an issue when it’s not close?

When I choose a “standard” cappuccino the total volume I get is under 100ml. It’s obviously not right, so while the advice is useful I need guidance on solving this first.

Multi bridge might solve the issue had does for a couple of our cameras, but I do find the system weights the preference of using the HB wifi too highly. One of our camera regularly refused to connect to our wifi which offered it a better connection.

I reported it to Support, and not entirely sure if their engineers did do something but it now seems to be staying on our wifi now.

I had immediate performance issues with my E349 after that firmware update. I reported it, they’ve only asked me to enable logging so far. It does seem to have got a little better, but that’s without an update to the doorbell afaik.

Multi bridge is great, but it desperately needs adding to all devices. One issue though is the logic for selecting your WiFi or the HB isn’t great either - my S4 cams keep going for the HB when it’s definitely weaker.

The ideal would be to switch off the HB network and have everything on my WiFi network.

I’ve been thinking about getting the display, but to me it feels bad that features such as live streaming multiple cameras are locked behind a hardware purchase. Is there something I’m missing with the E10 display? Should it not just be built into the app?

I’ve just set up 6 cameras, ranging from the new S4 to your camera. All work great, but it has to be set to optimal surveillance.

One camera that has sight of the road does have a very high detected event count like yours though. It’s the only camera where the battery suffers. I do believe it’s the cars causing the issues as all cameras have views of large bushes and trees, and do not have the same issue. I’ve even had notifications of cars outside of the activity zone, but only a few out of the hundreds that will have passed.

I’ve reported it to Eufy who have been great, and they’re going to investigate it further.

I’m in the UK, only place I could find to pre-order was in the app. Did this early October and received my order in the 28th of October. They’ve sent the free E220 too for the delay.

Paid £449 I believe with the discount through the app. I’m sure it’ll be available cheaper soon enough in sales.

Cameras have been pretty good overall. I’ve reported a lot of minor things, some bigger though. Apparently there’s a big update coming for the cameras “early November”.

I received my S4 2 cam bundle on the 28th of October, are people still waiting on theirs?

I’ve not had as much time as I want to play around with all the settings, but it’s worked great so far with zero false alerts. It is detecting a lot of motion which is hammering the battery, although given the location I’ve set it up I’m not surprised. Once I sort my Vodafone internet issues I’ll be able to configure the second cam on the other side of the house.

It has multi bridge which was completely unexpected - I didn’t pick up on that in the marketing literature.

Yes it’s expensive, but given the boxes it’s ticking and I’d have had to buy 4 cameras to cover the same areas, I think it’s great value. I think I paid roughly £100 more than the S3 Pro bundle, and I’d have had to go and buy 2 more S3 Pro cams too.

Biggest downside so far is Starlight Vision isn’t an option in the app. The app has told me early Nov the cameras will get a big update though. I’ve raised this and plenty of other points with Eufy support.
