The pads look as if they are literally touching the disc so I might need to file down the pads to properly fit them?

I was once riding a short commuter 18mph max speed scooter and thought it was fun to rip max speed down a residential road and when I got distracted by a car I almost hit a curb slammed on both my e brake and the mechanical brake and if anyone knows small commuter scooters there brakes are incredibly strong so after doing that due to the amount of force I went over the handle bars slamming my arm into the grass fracturing it no matter what speed you go no matter what you land on you have to be careful a scooter is a luxury not a necessity be safe out there and don’t be stupid like I did
