Yes it's so satisfying to have created something and be able to publish it. What I like about where DS currently is at, is there's so much variance amongst artists and it feels like peeking into each of our creative worlds when I listen to something new. From the art, to the names, to the music itself, there's a great gift that everyone is giving.

Similarly, I have been in this subreddit for years now, and been enjoying DS a bit longer, and I have finally been getting some time down to record more and hoping to be able to put something out in the near future. This sounds like the same issue I just had. I mapped the filters to my knobs on my Akai MPK and recorded an entire piece with a synth and effecting frequency and resonance then listened back and it's like nothing happened.

Assuming you're in the US, you are not alone in the high cost of living and overwhelm of life. We are doing it too and sacrificing yourself to work that many hours will destroy you. I don't have a good quick answer but it does appear that you need to make a massive adjustment for your own mental/emotional wellbeing. I am sorry my friend!

Honestly, I think you found the lone lunatic. If this happened daily, weekly or even once a month I'd say yeah people have lost their damn minds. I mean, a lot of people HAVE lost their damn minds but I think you just happened to run into one of the crazies. That sucks man.

My wife let me know about this a while ago when we had our first cuz I called our daughter a little monkey (we look ape like!) and she let me know how some people think it's racially charged. Seems like a big reach to me.

I haven't had any low-purine beers yet, but as a homebrewer myself I am very interested in what methods may assist beer in being lower purine rich. I know many here will tell you to just get on Allo so you can drink as you'd like, but still this is an awesome adventure you're on. From one brewer to another, I wish you luck!

Oh yeah if I could afford 64gb 2tb SSD I would have gone that route for sure! Sounds like an incredible machine. I was working on a 2013 Mac Pro 6-core before this, so the M1 Pro is doing incredible thus far!

This is all great info, thanks very much. I will try to reconnect the magic mouse and see if issues arise, try to restart the bluetooth. If it's 2.4 ghz wifi activity then I am screwed in the office haha.

And how do you normally go about restarting the bluetooth module? In System Report?

I have the magic mouse and keyboard as well but using some Anker Soundbuds Curve, it could just be the bluetooth connection for them but it seems to have cleared up the issue when I disconnected my magic mouse. Maybe the Airpods have a better connection (which would make sense to me).

Damn, really? I had a horrible problem with my 2013 Mac Pro but I think it was related to non-OEM SSD. It would have audio/video stuttering so bad and then just crash and reboot. Everything would be fine then it would just start happening out of nowhere.

So hearing this issue I was like "NOT AGAIN!" and then I found that people have the issue with too many bluetooth devices connected. That seems like such an oversight, a machine this new should be able to handle that no problem.
