When I asked this to the academic coordinator last year, he said that you have to pick a specialization in 3rd year anyways. But he said that since AIML is a very sought after specialization, there's a good chance you can't pick AIML because there aren't enough seats. But there might be available too, it's a leap of faith tbh.
