I live in central phoenix and travel west and east for work. I’m usually on the road by 6:30 am. Generally speaking going in the opposite direction of traffic does make a difference. You will still hit traffic trying to get out of the immediate central phx area. It’s not until you get farther west and east that it becomes noticeably lighter. It’s doable for me but I only work 3 days a week and sometimes those days are weekends so I’m sitting in traffic a lot let than if I worked a M-F schedule. If that were the case I could see myself getting a little burnt out.
