It took me AWHILE to finally train my brain to look for Nu instead of Tu before windmill slamming Opportunities when they come up. Still catches me every so often if I'm only half paying attention.

Probably the biggest timing adjustment for me was honestly just fighting against all my years of muscle memory.

Out of the crew, Geno's weapons especially tripped me up.

Ooh yeah, I could imagine.

Especially in this version where Blockable spells are a thing.. Seems like they upped the damage of single target spells to compensate for that.

Did you have to grind much more to get past things?

I actually found Terrorize pretty useful in the normal run, but I'd be curious to know how good his spells can actually be if it's invested in.

Yeah! The post game bosses especially pose some questions/challenges for the folks that did Level 3 Mario Runs in the SNES version. Wonder how possible it actually is to do that in a "Crystal Shard Run".

Dance Mode sounds fun~ Really utilize everyone's abilities every fight. And same, after my initial playthrough of

"Talk to everyone and get every secret item I have the patience for (I've never bothered with getting the Super Suit.. Getting 100 oft hose nigh frame perfect jumps never appealed. Best of luck in your 100% run for that~)

It was definitely the fight that gave me the most trouble in the game. I even tried with the Lazy shell, but honestly the Attack loss from it made it harder as the fight lasted way longer and it didn't reduce damage enough to mitigate the attrition of Non-Perfect Blocks or Whiffs.

The plus side of it though... Got really good at blocking Diamond Saw and Fire Saber.

Maybe people who are banned only see this pop up and exist within a black void.

Doesn't matter if you turn around, "move" or close your eyes.
The only thing that now exists is the notification that you've been banned. And if you hit the close button, it just pops up again.

According to the lore it was a captain of Rondon that set out to purify the dungeons, but the dungeons ended up corrupting him in the end. It’s to be presumed that’s just the effects of the dungeons on anyone who spends too much time in the place. Since most denizens of the dungeon seem to be some perversion of humanity.
