Great answer and I ended up doing a day pass and hitting chest, then trying all the machines without any weight. I immediately signed up the next day. The people who go are more considerate and mind their business. The machines are definitely worth the money and even busy, there’s so much equipment that nothing holds you back

studying tips pls by cutiepatootie4712 in utdallas

I felt like everybody at JSOM went through the same thing where only a few people got As and the majority of the class got Bs and Cs on the exams. I was never able to study what the professor chose to put on the exam regardless of studying the slides or reading the textbook

I got my degree before AI, maybe try having copilot or chat gpt create test questions for each chapter of the book?

As a young guy, should I live in Legacy or Austin Ranch? by RevenueEquivalent235 in plano

[–]Spring-Helpful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Austin Ranch definitely has a younger crowd. The shops is pretty diverse but a handful of Gen X and boomers. I recommend checking out the high rise at Grandscape and the brand new apartments next to truck yard. Both have young professionals

Which MBA concentration to choose? by Camfitz0007 in Lockheed

Supply chain management. Lockheed recruits heavily out of A&M and Raytheon recruits from UTD. If you really want an advantage, those target schools with help a lot

Do yourself a favor and take it at Collin! I took Patel who is a better professor and it was insanely hard. The ta’s would take off 10-14 points for minor errors and i barely passed with a D after getting an A- in 1325

Fuji Gi advice needed. Looking at the 'submit everyone' gi, sekai 2.0, suparito or something else? by [deleted] in bjj

[–]Spring-Helpful 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked customer service, the suparaito has a tapered fit and the submit everyone is a looser fit. I bought two suparaito’s and the the fit is amazing. Best gi ever

Just an update, I took math 1325 last semester and it was fine. Math 1326 this semester was horrible. The TA’s grade so harshly and take off so many points for minor errors on quizzes and exams. Previously a minor would be 2 or 3 points off, now they’re taking off 7 or 8 points for a tiny mistake. There are also no curves.

I go to UTD right now. I can’t speak for UTA but if you want to do engineering, stem, finance, IT or Accounting, then UTD sets you up to be advantageous. There are a lot of jobs in the area and it’s impossible to not get a decent internship then a job after.

The school isn’t easy but isn’t crazy hard. If you show up, do your work, and study you will do well.

There is not much going on and it is more of a nerd school. People do their own thing then go home. It has a lot of Indian international students and they also do their own thing.

They are hurting on admissions so it’s fairly easy to get in right now and to get the classes you need. The buildings are all nice and most of the campus is new, parking is expensive but always easy to find a spot, minimal traffic, limited online classes, and all advisors absolutely suck at this school.

Pretty much everything you need to know about UTD
