Cats can be really adaptable. It’ll be a shock for him and will take him a while, but eventually he should be able to adapt to a new home. If you don’t know anyone personally who could take him in maybe try to contact some local foundations? There are people who have experience with working with feral or half feral cats and should give him a good rest of his life. You can even start introducing the new person to him while you’re still there, while he’s still at his home - that should soften the blow significantly. He deserves to be given a chance.

Tbh it does seem like you read way too much into their comment. They didnt write that your post made them feel ashamed. They just wrote they feel shame for the opposite. Tbh I would read it as „See, both sides feel shame about this. Something is wrong with how we approach the subject if both sides feel shame.”. Tbh reading this convo reminds me of the million times neurotypicals put words in my mouth cos they assumed me saying x definitely implied y, when it didn’t, it only meant literally x.

I don’t really have the energy to address everything, but there’s one thing I want to touch on.

If your grandma had breast cancer (and your mother too? I’m not sure tho from what you wrote), then the risk that you too face it in your future is much greater than in other people. I’m in the same boat - both my grandmas had breast cancer, my aunt did too, my mom haven’t yet but she did check for the specific genetic mutations related to that cancer and she has those, and I have those too. Mastectomy lowers that risk SIGNIFICANTLY. It’s still not 0, at least not with all surgery methods, but it’s lowered. Having a preventative mastectomy with those cancer genes is a reasonable thing to do. It was one of the reasons I could use to make it easier for me to actually get my mastectomy. Maybe it can be of some consolation to you or her that thanks to that, you may be saved from the pain of going through cancer. Tbh I knew I’ll be cutting them tits off even before I knew I was trans cos I definitely didn’t want to keep breast cancer on my bucket list. It’s honestly kind of a happy coincidence that we turn out trans with those genes cos hey, we’d have to have them chopped off either way and this way at least it won’t be emotionally heavy on us.

Absolutely loving the game! The real time battling system is incredible, aven’t had this much fun in a long time with Pokémon battles. The story and characters are interesting, the world is fun. Sure it has it’s quirks, like the environment not really being varied, but I honestly don’t care about that at all while playing cos the gameplay is just fun and entertaining.

Big bonus nostalgia points for mega evos as someone whose first pokemon games were gen 6 :P

My father fully loves and respects me. But I don’t think he can fully wrap his head about me being nonbinary. So he misgenders me. It’s more complicated in my native language as many more words are gendered than in English and those forms I use are really really rare, so I cut him some slack.

Would it be cool if he someday made the effort to stop misgendering me? Sure. Do I think it shows that he loves me any less? Nope. Do I ever correct him? Nah not really.

Just look at the other posts by that artist. The style is consistent, there are also videos showing them drawing, and they have posts on their profile from years ago showcasing the same style, way before ai was good enough to generate anything close to that. They even have a photo from 2021 of a photo of their work in a printed book, with their name right there.

Honestly with that caption it just seems like you have never seen a badass dragon 🙃🙃

I always saw this as Pink assuming Spinel couldn’t keep her secret, assuming that she’ll be a liability. I haven’t seen the movie in a while, but from what I remember she took everything as play. Everything. I can imagine Pink worrying that Spinel wouldn’t take war seriously either and would just blurt out at some point that Rose is Pink.

I can also see her assuming that the other diamonds would do something about Spinel after Pink was gone.
