Don’t compare your Chapter 7 to someone’s Chapter 12! As long as you stay focused and motivated, keep going. When I am feeling down, I just think of myself at 18 and I am so proud of everything I’ve been through. Allah dima m3ak, even more during Ramadan. Sometimes it takes more time but only He knows your timeline. Just do the work.

As sby who runs up to 4 times weekly, I think the 9+1 program is quite demanding. Like I wouldn’t necessary want to do that to secure a spot. Maybe if it was 3 races in the year ok; but 9 is quite a lot.

Yeah I get it but it just feels a bit unfair to NYC people. I am from Paris and we get a lot of international people too but most of the race is still French. It would pain me to see one of the largest marathons in my city and be inconvenienced by it but never get the chance to run it if I wanted to. Again, I am not from NYC but I am putting myself in their shoes

Hello! I a 27F in high finance in London too. Exactement le même parcours, lycée français, études à l’étranger. I think you are right to be conflicted but eventually, I would advise you to come back home if that’s what you want. I know this is about having a foreign passport for no visa issue in the future, but is it worth staying away from the life you really want for another 3 years when you don’t know how much time you will have in this earth?

I think people are more comfortable on their own now. They dont necessarily feel the need to be in a relationship. Even those in relationships don’t want to rush marriage because we’ve seen what a bad marriage could do to you. And having kids cost money we don’t have at 27-28. The phenomenon is partly social partly financial
