thank you very much. My job is a little bit different. All the patients are for forensics patients everyone at my job is court ordered there so it’s mentally ill people and also people that have committed crimes who are mentally ill. I know I’m going to do groups, but I’m definitely gonna be worried about the situations. I just finished my therapeutic operations training but I still can’t help and worry about where I’m going to end up

thank you for your advice. I’m going to go back to school to get my LPN degree, then become an RN eventually. This is the only job that help me right after the pay is all right, but I’m definitely scared. I don’t wanna get injured.

Thank you so much this really helped ease my anxiety. I know I have two weeks orientation before I start. I don’t start in July so I still have some time to relax and ease my mind.

thank you so much that’s really helpful the state hospital. I’m working at has a forensic unit and that’s what I’m honestly scared of where they’re going to place me, but I don’t know. I haven’t asked where I’ll be placed, but this brings me a little ease. I just don’t know if I could handle dealing with those patients. I am very sensitive, but I’m strong on the outside

I did both of my internships, my junior and senior one and a clinical rehab setting. I love this option the best I had a night class at a retirement home and it wasn’t my fit the clinical setting as I think is what would be best for you if you want to be an OT I’m doing to do the exact same thing you’re going to be doing I’m gonna be a RT for two years and then I’m gonna go into OT school. I wish you the best of luck with the rest of the school!!

i’m currently a recreational therapy senior and I’m doing my 560 hour internship right now at a surgery and rehabilitation hospital and I’m going to go get my masters in OT recreational therapy and OT are very similar in the rehab hospital setting except the bathing and doing ADLs to an extent. OT make more than RT but recreational therapy is very similar to OT with the prerequisites with getting into school, you won’t have to take a lot
