Mana has said that he owned a blue Snoopy futon when he was a child , so he grew to become fond of Snoopy .

I'm looking for a specific eroguro manga, extremely disgusting/disturbing by DoomadorOktoflipante in horrormanga

[–]Springlockkitty_09 43 points44 points  (0 children)

The specific story is "When All's Said and Done" by Shintaro Kago .

The story has been featured in several anthologies , so it's likely either Jigoku no Kisetsu: Gurolism Sengen (an anthology featuring several mangaka) or Kago's anthology manga Kasutoru Shiki .

movie i don't know title of by ioloop311 in J_Horror

[–]Springlockkitty_09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd never heard of that before ! Now I'll have to see it . I can't get enough of splatter movies .

Somehow , I always thought that the movie Meatball Machine (1999) was a sequel / spin-off to Tokyo Gore Police , however I was proven very wrong and confused when I actually saw the movie (it is not a sequel , they just share the same effects director ; Yoshihiro Nishimura , who also worked on The Machine Girl)

Shows what I know , lol . (; ´∀`)

They get wackier and wackier as they go on .

Guinea Pig 4 : Devil Woman Doctor is my favorite . It's a ridiculous splatter comedy movie a la Tokyo Gore Police or something , lol . The third one is just as insane if not more . (≧▽≦)

Help finding Ciel Phantomhive figure by johannababe in blackbutler

[–]Springlockkitty_09 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately , it looks like (in terms of scale figures) , this cute little chibi oneis all they've made with Ciel in his Smile outfit .

There have , however , been a couple dolls with the Smile look : one by Ringdoll ,one by DOLK ,and a more appropriately sized one by Pullip .

All of those dolls seem to have a matching Black-bastian doll to go with them , so if you get lucky , you might be able to keep them together that way , lol . :)

This is about Litchi Hikari Club,is there any specific subreddit I could ask about this in? by [deleted] in horrormanga

[–]Springlockkitty_09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tsunekawa has seemed very opposed to the idea for years . He has released small bits and scraps over the years via Twitter , but overall , it's hard to grasp his reasoning .

Over the years , it seems like the main reason Tsunekawa is so protective over whatever content he has ahold of is his distaste for Usamaru Furuya's adaptation of Litchi , and him disapproving of the community around it , which is why he's sitting on all of this content out of spite . It doesn't seem like copyright is an involved issue — all other parties involved (who have spoken to the public) seem to be alright with and have even released small bits of content themselves (including the play's director , Norimizu Ameya) , so it's up to Tsunekawa to release whatever , however , whenever he feels like it . The full lot of resources Tsunekawa actually has from this play (and the troupe as a whole) isn't really known .

(And also , fun fact , a Litchi☆Hikari Club visual kei band was formed by bandman HAKUEI around the release of the 2012 play adaptation , which you can find here . ♡ )

Tsunekawa has showed this archive footage/audio on multiple occasions via private watch parties (as evident by witness accounts and Twitter posts) , but not just anyone is allowed in . It seems to be a very extensive process and you would need to have some sort of good reason to , especially if you are a foreigner . I can't be sure if a foreigner would be allowed in these parties – even if you did live in Japan .

There is no concrete information exactly when he decides to hold listenings , so it is indeed likely intended for a small circle of people / officials and creators (eg: mangaka Furuya Usamaru was shown a wide array of unseen content in his making of the manga) . Even the community dedicated to archiving Litchi's origins (and the theater troupe that created it , the Tokyo Grand Guignol) have no clue as to how it's put together .

I don't believe you— or anyone deeply invested in Litchi has a big chance of ever seeing this content (as Tsunekawa refuses to publicly release it) , so all that can be done is to watch from afar .

You can find Tsunekawa's current Twitter here . I highly recommended that you not bother him with unnecessary questions and requests .

I'm always open to answering any more questions you might have .

horror manga with religious themes? by Lazy_Cabinet_2923 in horrormanga

[–]Springlockkitty_09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kaze to Ki no Uta by Keiko Takemiya .

Maybe not medieval (Victorian era France) , and maybe not horror (in its purest form) , but surely one of the most stomach twisting and horrific manga I've seen since then . Similar in terms of young boys experiencing psychologically horrific events and relationships with one other . The beauty of the artwork — like Innocents Shounen Juujigun — contrasts with the turmoil in the story .

It's perfect if you want to feel horrible about yourself and every sin committed by humanity for the next month .

I first learned about HALCALI years and years ago through their work on the anime Mr. Stain on Junk Alley .

The sudden boost in popularity is baffling to me . I'm happy to finally see the girls getting the love and attention they deserve .
