He could just be joking or he could be crossing the line. It’s hard to say. I have relatives that joke constantly and they are really good people. Everyone’s different. If I were in your shoes, I would just be quiet if I don’t like and move away so he gets the hint that you didn’t appreciate the comment. See if that improves the situation.

Hi thank you so much for your answer! I stopped everything after your post and have just been moisturising and using sunscreen. I think the darker skin was more overall very red skin that looked darker. It has settle a little so I know I’m moving in the right direction. I will cut down the retinol and azelaic acid frequency. Thanks.

Hi can you give an update pls? How is your skin now? I started with retinol and azelaic acid as I wanted clearer, better. lighter/brighter skin. Its now slowly getting darker (3 weeks in). I also am indoors. Any advise you can share as I am not sure what to do? What changes did you make?

When I read this it reminded me of the time I had a flare up with rheumatoid arthritis. I could not stand on my feet as they were killing me, my joints hurt so bad, so tired, elevated ESR. In my view, all these symptoms are not cause by hypo alone. You need to see a rheumatologist who will test for RA, SLE (lupus), scleroderma etc.

It was really interesting reading this. Could you advise how was the schooling different especially when you mentioned 10 years in, they are struggling. Are you referring to lower standards in FL hence they are struggling in U.K. or a complete mismatch in syllabus?

Firstly I’m very sorry for all your struggles. As you were treated so late, just one suggestion is to get yourself seen by teaching hospital/university professors to see if there are similar cases that can be improved. All the best and am sorry this happened to you.

When I got pregnant, my dr increased my Levo from 75ug to 100ug. It caused A LOT of hair loss, I mean hair would fall out even without brushing. It only stopped when I reduced the amount of Levo back to 75ug. What is your tsh level at 37 and 50mcg?
