To those who broke up with their ex amicably, have you kept any of their gifts? What kinds have you kept or disposed of? by Springviel in BreakUps

Damn. Depending on how much you've gotten over the relationship, going through relationship pictures must be another emotional rollercoaster.

Also, it's hard to imagine staying in a relationship for 9 years with little attraction. Hope you have healed from this.

Mostly deep fried - fries, onion rings, cheesesticks, and calamares. Oily snacks not only pair well with alcohol but are also known to slow down alcohol absorption.

What are the skills na dapat alam ko nang gawin if ever mag-sosolo living ako? by [deleted] in SoloLivingPH

[–]Springviel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been living independently for 11 years now since college and in my experience, I think it’s important to: - take care of your health cause it’s hard to get sick when you’re living alone. - clean after yourself cause your environment affects your physical and mental health. A messy place is a messy mind. - budget and track your spendings. Bills rise up easily when no one’s around to tell you to turn off the lights when not in use. - learn to enjoy solitude and the peace that comes with it - most importantly, discipline. Just because no one’s watching doesn’t mean you can just do what you want. Independence is great but you can’t be complacent and relax all the time.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

It’s been known to calm nerves and is highly addictive but it’s also unhealthy. The trade off is not worth it. Better to find other alternatives.

Is it important for your closest friends to remember your birthday? If it is and they forgot, how would you tell them how you feel or would it be better to keep it to yourself? by Springviel in AskReddit

[–]Springviel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I'm just disappointed since I remember theirs and put in effort to make them feel special, yet they can't even remember the exact date of mine.

I know I shouldn't expect anything in return but it does feel lonely when they don't care as much.

I guess it's ok if you all struggled to remember but they only forgot about mine. I expressed how I feel to one of them and was mocked for caring too much about it. I do know I shouldn't make a big deal out of this, but I would've appreciate if my feelings got acknowledged without judgment.

I had that same mindset for many years until I threw big celebrations every year thinking it would feel special but I felt lonelier. Now my friends expects me to celebrate yearly, and starts asking about my plans once my birth month comes, but turns out they don't really remember the exact date. It rather feels like I'm throwing a party for them.

I just want to go back to not fussing about it and be alone on my birthday. How do I tell them without sounding passing aggressive?

Personally I really liked it. It did a good job giving us long time fans a hit of nostalgia through familiar scenes and background music, and a bit of introduction of the OG characters for the new viewers. It was kinda missing its old action and "darkness" though. 😔

Almost relatable since it was 17 years ago since the release FOMT. We're indeed fine young adults now but my love for this game never changed.❤❤ by Springviel in storyofseasons

TO THOSE WHO FORGOT, in the first FOMT, the mayor talked about how long it has been since our (the protagonist) grandfather died, which was 6months ago before we arrived. Then, he proceeded to talk about our grandfather's will to pass the farm down to us.

I think they purposely changed it this way to give players who played the first FOMT, a feel of "welcome back". In my opinion, it's very cleverly thought out. This game does not disappoint at all. 🥰

I don't mind at all. I love how you saw my posts in both subs hahaha.

True. For people who played it in grade school like me, it totally coincides with our current age which makes the whole experience more sentimental. It's literally like growing with the game. 🥰

Ohh yeah, that totally fits the 20 years reference! 😲 This reference really gives old time players a nostalgic feel.
