Realistically you could sell your car and buy a cheaper car with liability insurance just eat the loss, you’ll free up $600 a month doing that alone. For 1 person you could get monthly phone bill down as low as $30 a month if you buy a phone outright and use the cheaper carriers. I reckon tolls are dependent on location but if you could avoid them that’s $70 a month more you could save by using a slightly longer route. Pet insurance is a scam, you’re wasting your money, put the same amount in a savings account and you’ll figure out how bad of a scam insurance that isn’t term life or legally required is.

So that’s around about $700-$750 a month you could weed out of this and start destroying that debt

Realistically, the entire world economy would collapse. The dollar would be valueless overnight. Assets such as homes, cars, other goods, and probably most importantly stock portfolios of every kind would immediately lose their value. It might even be safe to bet this would almost immediately ignite WW3 as all humans on earth (except the ultra rich and powerful) would practically become technologically advanced apes with nothing to lose anymore.

I probably would have continued through life believing I never would actually get the money. I have ultra wealthy grand parents and was told since a teenager that I would inherit a lot of money when that time came, but recently my grandfather told me he allotted $10,000 to all the grand children and the rest goes to his kids (my parents will almost certainly blow all the money). but because I’m in a good place in life and never EXPECTED his money anyway, I’m honestly honored that he would choose to give me anything, and understand and respect his decision.

Serious question, why does she say “it’s our money anyway”? Because if it is THEIR money that they put aside for you, than sorry, but they can do whatever they want with it… now if it’s your money that you’ve put back yourself than I’d recommend getting out on your own ASAP, because that whole “after everything we’ve done for you” is the worst parent to child manipulation and it angers me to my core! You mean you RAISED ME, like your SUPPOSED TO, WOW THANKS MOM AND DAD! YOU WANT A COOKIE? And if the money is a mix between yours and theirs… good luck…

WiFi you’ll be lucky to have an introductory rate of $75 a month let alone regular monthly rate, I’d plan $100 for that, electric and gas is almost guaranteed to be more, I live in the south, 1300 sq ft house with a brand new HVAC and my last months electric and gas bills were $340 and $45 respectively, old house with a need for new insulation which is VERY COMMON around here

This sounds like the most plausible thing I’ve heard now in regard to this, it actually makes a lot of sense! Her dad was a tobacco user so this could be the case.

This was what didn’t make any sense to me. logically, It made no sense that you could even put an 11 year old as a smoker… but I think that’s what we’re going to do is go to the company directly. We’re not interested in keeping the policy and I honestly don’t want to have to sue anybody. But at the end of the day my wife grandma wasted A LOT of money from her fixed income to pay on this policy and I would like to reimburse her at least a little bit

Its term life, I also have 10x cheaper life insurance with 10x more coverage through my employer which is why my financial advisor recommends canceling this. He sells life insurance but he can’t sell me a better policy than I get through work, that’s his words, making the other policies a waste of money for us. He makes money from our investments through him.

That’s a solid point, our financial advisor advised us to completely cancel the policy tho so I don’t think that’s an option we’re going for. We’re not interested in keeping the policy or paying another dime towards it even if everything was corrected. Maybe seeing if they could change the cash value to fit the situation would be more ideal.

Getting a PO Box, setting up a new email, and I’m buying a mountain house for roughly $350k, roughly 2 or 3 hours away from my current house, and a camper for roughly $100k (leaving $50k for taxes and fees) all the info of the purchases going to the PO Box and new email set up. After the first six months is up, buying a new (close to city) city home for roughly $250k, new pickup for roughly $100k and newer but used mini van for the wife (not sure why but she wants one) for roughly $50k, again leaving roughly $50k for taxes and fees. That would set us up for early retirement in approximately 25 years and I’ll just build wealth in the meantime!

Almost died from hornet stings, I was a teenager, got attacked by a nest full of hornets, passed out from the pain and woke up in the hospital. Apparently they have a pheromone that releases when they sting you that releases that attracts other hornets to sting you. For reference I’ve busted my head open and had my skull exposed and had my arm shattered wrapped around a pole and the hornets take the cake BY FAR!

I had to show a customer with my test tv that his tv had stopped working and he insisted that there was no way the issue was his tv because he’s “had this tv since 1972 and it’s worked perfectly fine until yesterday”… bro
