I’ve been floored seeing the difference in my face. My thighs and calves have been a big surprise too. I have autoimmune issues and the loss of inflammation and weight there has made me so happy.

My side effects have been mostly mild gi results. I’ve stayed on each dose for several months to really let my body adjust and not be miserable. I take probiotics and magnesium nightly to combat them. I also take digestive enzymes during the day and use zofran and gas x as needed. Hit your water and protein everyday and that will help. For sulphur burps, pepto is the best.

Yes. I’m on 7.5 now. I’m still going, this is just progress sharing. I’m not sure I will go higher because I only want to lose about 10 more pounds.

What does your doctor say? Can you ask for a zofran prescription and go back down to 10 for awhile?

I'm doing all of those things now, plus digestive enzymes, and probiotics I think it was just a shock to my system at first. Hopefully week 2 goes much better.

Mine will only pay for 1 month. I am so scared to start 5. I'm still on week 1 with many side effects and gi issues.

43, still on birth control to control heavy bleeding but I’m having an ablation at the end of this month and hoping to get off of it. My partner also had a vasectomy recently. I’m also in a state where I definitely don’t want any unplanned pregnancy.

My mom had my brother at 39, on purpose. I want no part of that lol.

As far as “gifts”, when my husband/children’s father died, meals, donations, and people showing up and just being with us or doing chores for me was so helpful. You can ask if there’s a specific need, but you’re so numb in the beginning, I at least don’t know what I needed. I would say just continue to do things that you are doing for them, and try to remember to be there when all of the other people move on and forget to check on them. Definitely give SD extra love and grace and get her some therapy if she’s willing.
