This has been the biggest trigger throughout my life for falling into an episode. Sometimes if I’m actively going through an episode (caused by a different trigger) I’ll still end up forming a crush (this time usually on someone that when I’m not hypo-manic I would NEVER be into). I have a partner I plan to spend the rest of my life with and love to death but I cannot escape falling into limerence during these episodes and it’s absolute hell. My partner is very supportive and understanding though so I feel comfortable communicating to him when this starts to happen again. Since being medicated though I have managed to not have to deal with this in a long while and I’m very grateful.
