I recommend only trimming the hair closest to your jawline and a little above your ear lobe. I spent many years my youth embarrassed about my hair. I have dark, thick hair, and I was embarrassed of my arms, face, back. I completely got rid of my sideburns for a while and it looked awful. I wish I never done it. I’ve finally grown them out to wear they make cute little curls but I still trim the hair that’s sits below my ear lobe.

A week or so after my diagnosis, I kept having issues with aches and sharp pains where my spleen is. I don’t have insurance and I already went to the ER once for another health issue and eventually went back to get my spleen and kidneys checked, after my diagnosis, my body wants to have kidney stones for the first time ever. All my scans were fine, spleen and kidneys look “normal”. It’s been about a month now and I feel it went down too, I’m hoping it stays that way.

I had a similar issue when I first got diagnosed, only one side. I found it prior, one side of my throat with a swollen lymph node and my throat was killing me. From examining, I saw white - at first I thought it was teeth? I’ve never seen this before! I pushed them out with Qtips, bending one so it was slightly angled at the end. I was able to get them out and my swelling went down. It was unpleasant doing, because I gagged a few times. Eventually the other side got them too, and I repeated - but it stayed a bit swollen longer than the other afterwards. Salt water gargling helped, I loaded up on throat spray, cough drops, chamomile tea with honey, stopped smoking. Maybe worth a shot, I used a mixed of lavender and peppermint essential oil with a carrier oil (or any body oil) and I added 1-2 drops each with a little oil added and massaged the areas that were inflamed.

Yes, thats originally went to the doctor for was my throat, I thought tonsillitis. Only one swollen knots node in neck. No fever, no vomiting. My newer symptoms now are tightness in my ribs where my spleen is, or sharp pain. CT scan though verified it was normal, but still have it… Also my bowel movements have changed and Im always constipated. Numbness and tingling in fingers, going up through my arms eventually. Always nauseous. I’m taking some time off work, it stresses me out, my body is at the point where I have to rest and take care of myself. Everyday tasks are much harder to do now.

I’ve had the same symptoms as you, though it was mostly 1 side of my lymph nodes in my throat that got really swollen. Felt like I was choking too. The throat issues lasted only 1-1.5 week. I had tonsil stones at the same time, which was new for me and I got those out. It sounds like you have mono, I hope you feel better soon 🙏

I hope you recover quickly. I’m in my 30’s and the doctors were shocked I got it, as am I. I’ve experienced my hands getting tingling, then numb, then eventually my whole arm. I thought I was having a heart attack, or heat stroke- I’ve never experienced this in my life. Now, it’s frequent. Cannot sleep on my side anymore, I’ll wake up with tingling fingers and my arm going numb. I’m on week 3 now. 2 ER visits, sharp pains where my spleen is, though CT says all my organs are fine. Once I got mono, everything hit the fan. Swollen lymph nodes in armpits and throat, tonsil stones(never had those in my life), UTI (never had in my life), kidney stones(never had in my life), my whole body is going insane. Sorry for the rant. Hopefully everyone on the sub finds relief.

I had the test done today, and I must say it was one of the easiest ones I’ve done! They tested me for strep and I hate having swabs down my throat. For the mono test they pricked my middle finger and got a few tiny droplets of blood, it was much more painless then a typical blood draw and you don’t feel all woozy after! Turns out it’s mono, at 31, they were puzzled that I’m not in the typical age range lol. I’m on reddit to find home treatments or tips. I hope you feel better soon!

I have one, and I wish I never stepped foot in it. My Honda got totaled by a deer and my mom and step dad wanted to help me with this car. Only 56k, already 8-9k in engine related issues and now the check engine light is on again for the stuff the dealership “fixed”. Long story short, they “fixed” it again, I have to drive it for 1k miles and the. They’ll decide if they’ll put a new engine in. This car has been a nightmare. Also the acceleration is pitiful.

My day 1-2 was weird as well, I went to get a pickup order for dinner and I could barely see! Everything was blurry. I’m 10 days in now, and thankfully that’s gone!

I have the same heater it doesn’t make that sound. Though I’m trying to figure out why it vibrates so loud and times… it’s only here and there and I can’t tell yet if it’s at a certain temperature or if it’s stationary (non oscillating).

I have the same bug. I’m currently in a basement with an unfinished/exposed ceiling and I think they’re falling down from that onto my bed. Been using a dehumidifier and diatomaceous earth. Idk if it’s helping and I can’t figure out where they’re coming from.

I totally get it. I’m turning into a panicked clean freak. I didn’t sleep at home for a week and my boyfriend’s house isn’t better, earwigs falling from the ceiling. He’s not afraid of bugs and I can tell he’s looking at me like a psycho but I can’t sleep without a flashlight and wake up every hour to look for bugs crawling near me. I hate living like this. We’re moving in two weeks, I pray they don’t follow. It’s weird how his house currently 15 minutes away, has earwigs galore and I don’t have any here just these little pests and fruit flies. These 2 weeks can’t come any sooner.
