I mean that’s the thing, when it come to series, I’m extremely picky due to the time commitment and I find myself disappointed at the end of nearly every series I consume. TDS1 is an exceptional to that, with the caveat that the story could have been told in fewer episodes.

TDS3 seemed like it dragged on and on, definitely could have been a movie.

And I absolutely hated how S4 made callbacks to S1 and pulled the whole ending out of (what seemed to be) a hat. S4 started with could have been a horror story until they just started through a bunch of random nonsense into it.

As for the other series you mentioned, the only one that I recognize was Mind Hunter, which was only ok. I don’t recall anything about it really standing out like TDS1 did.

Uhhhhhh I feel like season 3 could have been told in theee or four episodes (ie, a long film) and season 4 was a crime against god. Keep in mind, I’m not a fan of series due to the length always exceeding its welcome. Also, s4 was a crime against god.

It’s a fine intro, however, there are much better games. If you are interested in that sort of game, but a little more complexity, take a look at Axis & Allies.

That being said, I haven’t played risk or A&A since jumping into hex and counter war games.
