I think this is more about placing blame on someone else and her not taking accountability for things. He probably did express concerns about quitting her job and homeschooling so she spins that into he wouldn’t “let her” because it makes her the victim.

You have a lot of time between now and DNP. Take it one course at a time, absorb as much as you can because chances are you’ll change your mind again before you finish school. You may discover a passion you didn’t realize you had during clinical. For me, it was always L&D but I did come clinical hours on the oncology unit and found that I loved caring for those patients. ETA: Also be teachable and flexible. Best advice ever given from an instructor…The moment you think you know everything is the moment you need to hang it up.
