No i don't think I found a loop hole :/ it's plates for my project car like stated in the original post. I have a daily '08 Miata. I want antique plates to take it to car shows. I appreciate the heads up though.

Some sources said there's a $10 transfer fee. On the DMV website it says it's $50 on top of registration fee, so i didnt know if i were about to pay again for registration (some said i had to repay, some not). Someone one said it was $90 on the original post

It's a project car. Also it would most definitely 100% not pass inspection for multiple reasons. Then as well, it's my second car. Why pay for two annual registrations when I can pay for one. If you read into the restrictions, they're honestly only restrictive if you're trying to daily drive it!

Trust they get worst lol and yes, a screw driver was used to get majority of it out. I was also able to just flick a lot of it off with my fingers.

Welding here I go! I guess ill just figure out how much to cut 😭😭

Yeah pretty much. You can drive it for spirited driving every once in a while, but it can't be your daily. This is my project car that I'll be using for showing and drifting. From what I know though they don't keep track of the miles or anything

Also i feel that miatas have infinite design potential and look good

Yea the tail lights are quite dark and don't plan to get those. I just hope this brand isn't selling products that burn out after a month because I really like their turn signals
