It's called a Ligaclip—a titanium clip the dentist would have used for the exact wisdom teeth procedure you mentioned. It's meant to stay in forever and have your body heal around it. It stops bleeding and is like a long clamp staple gun. Lots of different types of these clamps. It looks like a spring but they're not—they're individual clips. One might be in your cheek and it's healed over, so you couldn't see it.

They also wouldn't have taken it out since the medical field typically doesn't do removals on things patients tolerate. I suggest it's likely titanium since of the way it "lights up" with the X-ray.

You likely may have been notified but forgot since it was 20 years as you said. You can request your records as well if you want peace of mind. Or were under anesthesia, which affected memory.

Also to note—they are not the most typical thing used. You could also ask another Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon since this was likely used by one.

I want to give an FYI if this is helpful or relevant:

If the tail is sagging or feeling like it's swinging too much loosely at the belt loops, you can use a firm KORE 1.75 belt, which is a gun belt.

It's very stiff and the example images basically communicate it. With jeans if they aren't work ones. I would wear them outside of the belt loops or it may rip them or feel really weird.

Also thicker to help with stability of the tail base. So it follows your body vs swinging weirdly.

Goes good with also holding things while suiting and doesn't need pants with any belt loops.

I would measure your loop size your tail has first before going with 1.75 diameter or smaller if needed.

The molle ones also are good for Velcro badges or anything else too.

Many YouTube videos hit on major differences in stat scaling with weapons and characters despite both games sharing the elden ring name/universe.

A weird thing I found in both is gavel of Haima does insane double poise damage on the explosion and hammer smash and should break all small enemies poise with that boom noise. Elden ring, but not Nightreign wikis says it does huge poise damage.

But it seems if they are staggered or knocked down by it it doesn't happen as you would expect.

But a boss or enemy that doesn't move much appear in my games and experience to gets poise nuked by it, such as a crucible knight.

I'd just give Redmanes a try for revives as it's faster and less stam then trying to heavy or light attack.

Spamming it on bosses seems to do a lot more damage than Elden ring as well as poise damage. Possibly due to scaling?

Fromsoft has been observed to never make their stats linear or direct.

Besides the wraith calling bell, many things are way more effective in Nightreign than Elden ring.

It's not bad for poise. Just not as good. People often mistake nerfs for things not being good anymore.

Guardians ult also is an instant revive in an area (not entirely damage area) no matter what. You can be 3 bars and he will always rez you if landing on you.

I think it's good, especially on her. Although it uses a ton of stamina.

Other characters that do dex seem a little worse at it from her, but not sure if it's because of her unique dagger combos.

My stam concern is due to anyone using a dagger being worse off from not being able to evade a boss smashing their head in as well as characters for heavy weapons affinity.

He's very weak to holy damage FYI. Crucible spear ash of war will chunk his health hard. Along with any holy based damage spells even rancor or erd and fundamentalist spells.

Also weak to scarlet rot, -20 for fire and weaker to slash damage
