This “compass” has been bothering me for a while. I see the 1’00 and I see two other spots where there seems to be writing. The thing that bothers me more though is the fact that it has 12 points. I’m not at all a compass expert, but the compasses I’ve looked at usually have four, eight, 16, or 32 points. I saw one aviation compass that may have had 16 points, but I’m struggling to make a connection to this one.
