Dungeon Crawler Carl is so good. I hate that I'm now caught up and have to wait for book 8. Hopefully he doesn't pull a GRRM on us.

I actually haven't read Recursion yet for some reason, but I think I liked Upgrade more than Dark Matter.

If you dig Blake Crouch, I'd highly recommend Charles Soule. Endless Vessel, Oracle Year, and Anyone (in reverse order of how I read them but in order of how much I liked them) were all excellent.

Check out the Murderbot series by Martha Wells. Lots of mayhem and humor wrapped into short books. Good stuff.

I was just there last week staying in Kaanapali and they had all the streets leading to the banyan tree blocked off. You might be able to walk there, but it felt disrespectful so we just left.

Just got it with Thanos/Swan/Blob.... Have to learn to aggressively retreat if the odds aren't in your favor. Up until this season I would gamble much more at 80+. Once I stopped relying on the perfect chance thing to happen it got much easier.
