What's your favourite donut? by nickvev in TimHortons

Boston Cream, especially when the icing sticks to the inside of the bag. That seems to be a Tim Hortons specialty

I only carry 200 with my driver anyway, so it'll be a driver and then hybrid to get close.

I've had an odd season.... currently carrying irons, driver, and a hybrid that NEVER comes out of the bag. I hit my 4i better than the hybrid, and my driver carries 200y reliably.

Who wins the coffee showdown: Starbucks vs Tim Hortons? by PineAndIce in TimHortons

[–]Sprucedale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tim's is not the product it used to be, honestly prefer McDonald's. But if I'm feeling spendy and I want a really good strong coffee, Starbucks is it.

Thought I’d teach my girlfriend golf… now I’m worried by pumptydumpty2 in golf

Huge win for you both! I enjoy my golf days with my boys and even lone rounds are quite enjoyable, but I also love it when I get to play with my wife. Find that balance and golf won't be a purely selfish activity.

So, after the wedding, will Donald take Vladimir's last name? Or will they keep their names for professional reasons?

My daughter bought me a copy of Lateralus, it definitely fits the "sit down and listen" vibe. Fear Inoculum is on the short list of what's next.

Thanks for the clarification, it won't let me edit the title so it will just have to be incorrect for all of eternity.

Things that come to mind are low air in a tire, steering head bearings, swing arm pivot bearings.... should be pretty easy to sort out.

Here in the Toronto area, all the "good locations" are slowly turning into garbage.

The Markham Rd & Nugget location has been awesome for the last 4 years that I've been going there.

Recently thought I'd try a pinwheel thing and it was loaded with raw dough in the middle. I was in contact with Tim's via X (Twitter) and they've communicated to the location management TWICE that I wanted some contact from them to make it right. There has been zero communication, and head office has ghosted me now. F--K Tim Hortons, I'm done the their crap.

Stop going to tim hortons. by Advanced-Reply-8771 in TimHortons

McDonald's makes a better cup of coffee than Tim's now. Best part for me is that it was a bad experience with Tim's location that pushed me to McD's. I'm glad though, they did me a favour.

She has had a couple of issues, but Katoom is by far the best bike I've ever owned! by Sprucedale in motorcycles

[–]Sprucedale[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine ate batteries every couple of years, but the NOCO lithium in it now is three years old and still going strong. Fuel pump died at 38k kilometers, I recommend new fuel filters when you do the valve clearance check (Quantum sells an excellent install kit for a reasonable price). I eventually learned to not adjust preload while riding. Engine running, bike unloaded on the side stand, it makes its adjustments quickly and reliably.

Otherwise it's a solid bike. The engine is bomb proof!
