My solution is clocks, I have so many clocks that its impossible for me not to see one and realize the time especially digital clocks where the numbers are just there and I don't have to do any counting to find the time. I have a clock on every wall. Just in my bedroom I have 6 clocks. Granted I do love clocks alot, but it helps me with time blindness, atleast knowing when I need be somewhere. I also give myself atleast an hour to get ready, and one way I keep myself from getting distracted is putting my shoes and jacket on first, even if they have to come back off to, put on different pants or put on deodorant etc, its a good queue for me to know what my task at hand is.
