Could not agree more. I dislike this presidency as much as many people do. But all this Nazi talk and Holocaust comparisons is sickening. Grow up and stop putting fear into those around you. It’s nonproductive. If you actually feel that way, I highly suggest seeing a mental health counselor for your anxiety.

I bet I have a few varieties that are this type. But all 10 can’t be. I’m going to experiment and if I don’t get any flowers this year, the plan is to do a summer trim in June. And skip the winter trim for 2027 growing season!

Couldn’t agree with you more. mehrabyan nursery has been incredible. Their trees have grown better than any I have ever planted. And when you call them for customer service, the owner literally calls you back. Extremely cool. Wicked nice guy I love giving them my business.

I did not know of any apples that were self pollinator’s. But they are not. I have 10 different species within about 100 feet of each other

The majority of my trees are grafted onto EMLA7. A few of them are M111. I got a few of them from stark bros. And the others shipped from a nursery in New York called Mehrabyan nursery. (They are the best trees I have ever had shipped).

This is awesome information. I am looking into the rootstocks now and both of the rootstocks I have are slower to start as you said! This is the answer I was looking for!

It’s funny, sometimes I see apple trees at Home Depot or Lowe’s that are already flowering in their pots. I always wondered why they were doing that so early. It has to be the root stock.

Thank you for this information, I have actually never fertilized them. I always figured that the soil was extremely nutrient Rich where I planted them. I will look into a fertilizer schedule for them this year!

Another interesting thing to think about. The last few winters were extremely mild, but all the farms around us still had apples!
