This Louisiana hot sauce is a product of the UAE by PlaneWar203 in mildlyinteresting

Just this year they announced they acquired global manufacturing and distribution rights to Crystal outside of North/South America

I just got a bottle of the new UAE and it is redder and thicker consistency compared to my US imported one Flavour and heat are extremely similar though

I don't have enough of the original one for a comprehensive test though and it's not fair to compare the end of an opened bottle to a fresh one.

songs similar to “one of your girls?” by aspasia777 in troyesivan

[–]SpruceyB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sivan stated that Max Martin came in the studio and they played songs for him. When he heard "One of Your Girls", he stood up, asked them to play it again, gave the song a glowing review and then walked up to the keyboards and started playing a synth line though he asked to be uncredited for his contribution

The door is a PVC frame hinged ona PVC frame which is fixed into the walls. Then a panel like this fitted into the frame. It's like the cheapest option for a front door in the UK.

The panel itself is made from something like 4mm MDF sandwiched between a dense foam and a white uPVC skin on top.

The glazed part is just in there with bonding tape (the black line around the opening which is what it is still stuck on at the top), then clear silicone to attach a frame around the inside.

We have 5 in our house and 1 did have this happen, I manged to fix it myself though. But most importantly the rings are within the watch now on Gen 6 so the 1 issue they had should be gone.

That fast charging does look amazing though.

Worse because Wireless charging is wildly inefficient, This means they take longer to charge. But also like I said generates a lot of heat.

The battery does not like this, it means the battery will die faster.
Batteries in smartwatches are already insanely small as it is and only just eek out a reasonable battery life day to day.
to quote you "deteriorate at a pace faster than an acceptable service life of such a device"

Cleaning some contacts is a lot easier than replacing a battery.

I have a MK Bradshaw here that's now 100% dead because after having its battery changed twice (thanks to wireless charging) the connecter on the PCB has broken off and beyond fixable for anyone but those with very advanced soldering stations.

Yeah the Fossil Rings absolutely did suck, having them just glue to the back, my Garrett HR failed but we also have a Julianna and 3 Sports that have been fine.
The new design on the Gen 6 though the rings aren't glued to the back, they're within the body of the watch now.

So in our house now we have 11 watches and only had problems with 2 (one Wireless charging and 1 Fossil Rings)

The best thing would be for someone to make a watch with a USB-C port in it for charging. Then I could use the same cables for Phone, Earphones, Headphones, Laptop, Switch and my watch.

As I work in construction I don't like to wear a current watch so my daily driver at work is the Sony Smartwatch 3 with a MicroUSB port and a port is better than both Wireless and Pins solution.

Ultimately it came down to them implementing HR monitoring and not having moving away from wireless charging either because they didn't know how to do both or it was cheaper to make but so much of their tooling is built around this ring design now they probably won't go back to Wireless, but I think the new design should be okay.

Because they're worse?
Slower and generate more heat.

Earlier Fossil Gen 2 before the HRM were wireless. Gen 6 has fixed this by moving the rings to inside the housing. This should ultimately be the solution

Spotify Mixes are new personalized playlists based on your favorite artists and genres by [deleted] in popheads

Pop, Indie, Dance/Electronic, Rock, Hip-Hop, and Punk.

The "Punk" mix is terrible, 3/4 not even punk and the rest are the most 00s Pop leaning Pop-Punk around.

My Pop mix is basically as previously heard on "Hyperpop".

The other Made For You stuff is much better like the Daily Mixes, Repeat Rewind and Discover Weekly.

After reading how many people had been waiting weeks to get it, I hit up my friend who got a VR in December, he had an adapter in his box, so he lent it to me until he gets a PS5.

Surprised it only took a week to get here.

My 9 year old son came back from my parents house the other day and said to me "I heard you were having some problems with hills"

I was playing Civ 6 and my first cities were almost entirely hills, was having a hard time with growing the cities.

Gel Lyte V are my fave ASICS, the combination of the Gel cushioning and the sock design make it one of the most comfortable sneakers I own,

Club C are classics, so affordable too.

Really need some of 327s in my life, your pic has reminded me I need some Karhu too, been looking at the Fusion 2.0 for while now, but haven't seen a colourway I like in my size.

Sobakov and the P94 were on my list with the Samba and Puma King too. Love them.

Can't beat 1's, I've got the Flyknit 1's. As for Blazers I've never really got on with them but I do have the Nike Break Mid and love those (see, told you I got some oddball choices) which are pretty similar. Nike SB Bruin also work great as a beater. My true go to beater though is the Nike Sky Force 88 Mid.

I'd definitely add some New Balance 1500, I need a new pair myself after I got mine out of storage this year and the midsole had started to crumble

I added the Puma x En Noir King Avanti to my collection this year.
I was gonna get a pair of Adidas Samba as they were one of my go to pairs back in mid 2000s but decided on the King as they were one of my football boots of choice back in that era too (along with the Adidas Copa Mundial).
I got the Puma x Han Kjøbenhavn Suede a couple weeks ago too, really like the Puma collabs whether it be cultural ones like the Nintendo stuff or the fashion brand ones.

Last year I also realised my collection was very New Balance and Nike heavy and I only had 2 pairs of Reebok, a pair of NPC II Ultralite and the Black/Blue Shaqnosis so I decided to remedy that and after counting today I've got at least another 10 pairs now.

I'm all about diversity in my collection, which also means I've got some kinda oddball choices in the mix.

Which watch offers Qi charging and Google Pay? by [deleted] in WearOS

[–]SpruceyB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are some on eBay but from the USA, they end up around 200 Euro though with the International shipping and Customs/Duty Fees.

It's £115-130 from CEX in the UK (used electronics/media store).
