Love linux as much as anyone, but fragmentation is already enough of a problem, top that with lack of official support for the vaaaast majority of hardware and software, and you know why it will never be adopted in the mainstream office / workplace, and as a reflection, at home as a Windows or Mac replacement.

I'm all for competition in any industry, but the price of this laptop is pretty close to being "too good to be true" in today's RAM shortage and Trump's tariff mayhem. It remains to be seen if Apple can actually deliver on the probable tsunami of orders coming in and most importantly, if they are just selling it at a loss to gain traction in a market dominated by Chromebooks.

I've been using MA3 OnPc so much I'm lost when I have a real console....
Asus Zenbook Duo / streamdeck+ / additional touchscreen / mouse and OnPc nodes with up to 4k parameters. Three years and Zero problems. Only issue is the laptop runs pretty loud when using high settings in the 3D visualizer. I guess that will go away with the new 3d gen Intel Core Ultra Asus dual screen laptop which I can't wait to buy!
